Community Based Care

We design emergency preparedness and response around the people in the space, not just the risks on paper. Every plan and service is tailored to the community it serves.

Integrated Response

Medical care, mental health support, and de-escalation are built into our approach from the start, helping prevent unnecessary escalation and improving outcomes.

Preparedness with Purpose

From consulting and training to on-site event support, we focus on practical, realistic preparation that empowers people and reduces harm.

Our services are designed to work together, offering flexible support depending on the needs of your event, organization, or community.

Learn More

EQUIP Medical grew from firsthand experience in emergency medical services and community care. We saw how often traditional emergency response and healthcare systems fail to meet people where they are, especially when medical needs overlap with mental health, disability, identity, or access barriers.

Those experiences made it clear that safer spaces require more than just medical coverage. They require thoughtful planning, integrated mental health response, community trust, and responders who understand the people they are caring for. EQUIP was created to build that kind of care, grounded in real-world experience and shaped by the communities we serve.

How we got here…

EQUIP builds safer spaces through integrated medical and mental health response, practical education, and community-centered preparedness. We provide on-site care, help people understand how to respond in medical situations and advocate for themselves, and support organizations in creating realistic medical safety plans.

As we grow, we stay guided by community input, ongoing learning, and collaboration. Through consulting, training, event medical support, and outreach, we aim to close gaps in care, access, and health education, and help create environments that are safer, more welcoming, and better prepared.
